Margay

The first margay was brought to Novosibirsk Zoo in 2015 from the Le Parc des Felins (Nesles, France). A year later, according the conservation program, the Zoo received a male. This is the only pair of margay in Russian zoos. This is rare species. In world zoological parks the margay are also few, in total not more than 60 individuals. In captivity, these felines breed badly.
